Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable treatments or styles
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations
- Use advanced techniques such as hair extensions, balayage, highlights, and color theory to achieve desired results
- Manage client appointments efficiently using salon software such as Meevo
- Upsell retail products like hair care, styling tools, and treatments to enhance client results and satisfaction
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling retail sales
Skills
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Hair Stylist or Barbering professional
- Strong knowledge of hair care products, hair coloring techniques, and hair extensions application
- Proficiency with salon software systems for scheduling and client management
- Excellent communication skills for client consultation and team collaboration
- Skilled in sanitation practices including sterilizing tools like straight razors and implementing proper hygiene protocol.
- Knowledge of retail math for upselling products effectively while maintaining excellent customer service standards

Pay: $29.20 - $32.55 per hour
