We're recruiting a hardworking, enthusiastic Esthetician to join our growing medical spa team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a clinical, physician-supervised environment and grow with a fast-growing company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests and conduct thorough skin consultations and assessments to identify concerns and recommend appropriate treatments within scope of practice and Medical Director protocols.
- Perform advanced facial treatments and skin care services addressing client concerns (e.g., advanced facials, Chemical peel, LED therapy, Body Cavitation, RF, Microneedling and more).
- Educate clients on available spa/medical spa services, treatment plans, and membership packages, and clearly explain what each package includes.
- Perform facial and scalp massage for therapeutic or relaxation purposes.
- Perform facial extractions for blackhead removal.
- Maintain accurate, detailed client charting and treatment notes in accordance with medical spa documentation standards.
- Demonstrate proper use of professional-grade lotions, oils, masks, creams, and ointments.
- Operate spa equipment and devices as authorized under standing orders and Medical Director-approved protocols, including:
- Body cavitation machines
- Facial steamers
- Galvanic current machines
- Microcurrent machines
- LED light therapy machines
- Additional modalities as required by the assigned department and approved protocols
- Follow all consent, documentation, and Good Faith Exam (GFE) procedures required for medical spa services.
- Refer clients to the Skin Expert or Medical Director as appropriate for results reviews or treatment plan escalation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Active Texas Esthetician License required (Aesthetician/Esthetician/Cosmetology license accepted per TDLR requirements)
- Willingness to complete medical spa-specific onboarding and protocol training under our Medical Director
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to work weekends
- Strong communication skills and comfort educating clients on treatment plans and membership options
