This is a working management job in a loud, active kitchen. You will support the General Manager, direct the crew, and step directly onto the grill or register when the service line gets busy. It fits a food service worker with a valid NY Serve Safe Certification who knows how to control a shift, hit health standards, and manage opening and closing routines.
What You Bring
- Required:
- 18 years of age or older
- 2 or more years of previous job experience (including fast-casual management)
- Active NY Level 1 Serve Safe Certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Access to reliable transportation
- Willingness to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and kneel for up to 10-hour shifts
- Ability to safely lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to work around hot oil and tolerate temperature changes in a noisy kitchen
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English
On-the-Floor Duties
- Support the GM and AGM in running daily store operations and managing the floor.
- Work directly on the line handling the grill, fry station, prep, and cash register.
- Direct the crew during your shift and train new team members.
- Complete thorough opening or closing duties depending on your schedule.
- Maintain high store conditions to hit 100% secret shopper scores.
- Communicate clearly with your team over the noise of an active kitchen.
