Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and food safety protocols
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure a clean and efficient environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Experience in serving or host/hostess roles demonstrates a solid foundation in guest relations and hospitality etiquette
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations are essential
