Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Truck Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a full-time position.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and keeping accurate service records.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy-duty trucks.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire replacements.
- Perform DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot engine and transmission issues using diagnostic tools and software.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
- Collaborate with drivers and dispatch to schedule repairs and minimize downtime.
- Keep the shop and work areas clean, safe, and organized.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or truck repair technician.
- Knowledge of truck systems including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and repair software.
- Ability to lift heavy parts and work in varying conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.
- ASE certification or equivalent is an asset but not required.

Pay: $30.00 - $43.00 per hour
