Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packager to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the packaging process, ensuring that products are packaged according to FDA regulations and CGMP standards. This position requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand tools, and experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure all packaged products meet quality standards and comply with FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for monitoring and controlling packaging processes.
- Assemble packaging materials and prepare products for shipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of packaged goods to identify any defects or issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking materials used in the packaging process.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize packaging workflows and improve efficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, or warehouse environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP practices is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge and experience using hand tools are essential for this role.
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
