Duties and Responsibilities

Respond to routine and non routine service calls, including scheduled maintenance, emergency, and after hours calls in a timely manner.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components in electronic security systems.

Perform system diagnostics and isolate issues in hardware, software, and network connected devices.

Service and support systems including Milestone, LenelS2, DMP, Axis, Hanwha, and Bosch platforms.

Perform preventative maintenance on installed systems to ensure reliability and compliance with customer service agreements.

Conduct system testing, commissioning support, and quality checks on new and existing installations.

Install small projects, system additions, and upgrades as required.

Analyze repair requirements and present clear solutions to customers.

Complete service documentation, work orders, and reports accurately and on time.

Coordinate with project managers, installation teams, and other technical specialists to support customer sites.

Support customer service programs and assist in cross training efforts to expand team capability.

Exercise sound technical judgment in selecting methods and troubleshooting approaches to resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills

Minimum three years of experience installing and servicing IP video surveillance systems including Milestone, Axis, Hanwha, and Bosch.

Minimum three years of experience installing and servicing intrusion detection systems such as DMP and Bosch.

Minimum three years of experience installing and servicing access control systems including Lenel and S2.

Strong understanding of low voltage wiring, system integration, and electronic security best practices.

Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals including IP addressing, switches, PoE, and basic troubleshooting.

Proven ability to lead or support security installation teams in the field.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Physical Requirements

Ability to safely use hand and power tools required for low voltage installations.

Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods.
-
Ability to install system hardware, cabling, and related equipment in commercial environments.
-
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
