JOB SUMMARY
The Excavation Laborer is responsible for carrying and loading excavation materials for excavators working on projects. Additionally, the Excavation Laborer assists with various labor-related tasks including, but not limited to, excavation, hand-digging with a shovel and project clean up.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Checks daily assignments and coordinates with crew Supervisor
- Assists with excavation needs including the digging of holes and trenches
- Cleans up job sites
- Assists with the loading and unloading of equipment and materials
- Operate Laser levels to guide machine operators
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- With proper previous training and/or experience, operates various excavation equipment including mini-excavators, backhoes, drilling/boring machines, jackhammers, and concrete saws
- Performs other duties, as needed and when assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years experience in excavation or construction
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record; must provide own transportation to shop or work site each day (having your own vehicle Is essential)
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs., push and pull up to 80 lbs., and stand or walk for up to eight (8) hours each day
- Must be able to dig/excavate for up to six (6) hours in a day

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
