Job Summary
Medical Call Center Representatives serve as the first point of contact for patients, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring patient satisfaction through effective communication and support.
***This is an on-site position at our Humble TX location and is not remote.**
Key Responsibilities
1. Answer Incoming Calls: Respond to patient inquiries regarding medical services, appointment scheduling, and general healthcare information. Provide clear and accurate information to assist patients effectively.
2. Schedule Appointments: Arrange patient appointments, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and verified.
3. Document Interactions: Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, inquiries, and appointment details in the system.
4. Handle Patient Complaints: Address and resolve patient concerns or complaints professionally and empathetically, ensuring a positive experience for the patient.
5. Provide Basic Medical Information: Offer general medical information and guidance as appropriate, while ensuring that sensitive health information is handled confidentially.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a medical or healthcare setting
- Answering a high volume of incoming calls
- Strong verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively to patients and healthcare professionals.
- A patient and empathetic demeanor to handle inquiries and complaints tactfully.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Bilingual required
- Eclinical Works (eCW) required
