Job Summary
Murders Automotive & Diesel Repair-Ozark is looking to add an experienced mechanic to our team! In this role, you will be at the forefront of vehicle repair and maintenance, specializing in heavy line repairs, engine & transmission replacement, timing components, head gaskets, cam/lifter failures, major drivability concerns, & advanced diagnostics.

Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components.
- Diesel & European Experience a plus.
- Utilize specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols to ensure quality workmanship.
- Conduct thorough inspections to assess vehicle condition and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of all service orders.
- Stay current with industry advancements by participating in ongoing training and certification programs.
Experience
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or equivalent role within a fast-paced repair environment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical diagnostics, and heavy-duty vehicle systems.
- Certification from recognized automotive technical schools or industry organizations (e.g., ASE certifications) is highly preferred.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic software effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and safety compliance.
