Responsibilities
- Perform roofing repairs and installations using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to ensure long-lasting results.
- Install various exterior materials including siding, stucco, metal roofing, and single-ply membrane roofing systems.
- Interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately to guide project execution.
- Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and construction safety harnesses while adhering to all workplace safety regulations.
- Conduct heavy lifting and material handling for fabrication and installation tasks on outdoor job sites.
- Follow strict safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment such as safety harnesses and adherence to construction site safety regulations.
- Assist with remodeling projects by framing with metal studs, caulking joints, and applying finishing techniques such as stucco or siding installation.
- Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings and ensure precise execution of construction plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while managing multiple projects efficiently.
Skills
- Proven experience in roofing repair, metal roofing, siding installation, or general construction work.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Familiarity with construction safety harnesses, ladder use, and adherence to workplace safety regulations.
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions on construction sites.
- Ability to read and understand construction plans for remodeling or roofing projects.
- Skilled in caulking, stucco application, metal stud framing, and single-ply membrane roofing systems.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile project support across different trades.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with strong attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship at every stage.
