Duties Include:
Ensures medical records are organized, accurate, complete, and safeguarded in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Prepares patient charts and gathers required information and documents from patients.
Creates digital copies of paperwork and files records electronically in the facility’s database.
Processes medical records for patient admissions and discharges.
Operates computer, scanner, fax, copier, and uses multiple medical software programs.
Provides backup coverage for Reception and New Patient Coordinator as needed.
