Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Activities Coordinator to enrich the lives of residents in a vibrant retirement community. In this role, you will design, organize, and facilitate engaging recreational activities tailored to the diverse interests and needs of seniors. Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of engaging activities including arts and crafts, music therapy, games, outings, and special events aligned with residents’ interests and abilities.
- Foster social interaction by encouraging participation and facilitating group dynamics in a respectful and supportive manner.
- Manage scheduling logistics for events and coordinate transportation or outings when necessary to enhance resident engagement outside the facility
- Strong background in senior care and home & community care experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with older adults facing aging issues.
- Familiarity with scheduling management tools and documentation procedures related to recreational programming.
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
