Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused X-Ray Technician to support our growing clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced outpatient environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality imaging that supports excellent patient care. Candidates with either a Full Scope or Limited Scope California X-Ray license are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and collaborative, with the ability to support providers and clinical staff across daily workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging as directed by providers
- Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and equipment calibration
- Follow all radiation safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Assist with patient intake and additional clinical support duties as needed
- Maintain accurate imaging records and assist with documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Collaborate closely with physicians, medical assistants, and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active and valid California X-Ray License (Full Scope or Limited Scope accepted)
- ARRT certification preferred but not required
- Prior experience in podiatry, orthopedics, or an outpatient clinical setting preferred
- Comfortable working in a team-based, multi-location environment
- Strong communication skills and a dependable, patient-centered work ethic
- Experience with EMR systems preferred (Epic experience a plus)
Job Type: Part-time
Base Pay: $33.00 - $55.00 per hour
