JOB SUMMARY: Maintain the integrity of the Sportsbook Department, including the responsibility of monetary transactions. Will be responsible for their World Till station, which includes placing guest wagers, paying winning tickets, and being able to reconcile their window. Assist guests in using the sportsbook kiosks.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must be knowledgeable in or be able to receive training in completion of Federal, State, and IRS documents as needed on winning tickets such as W2’s and Suspicious Activity Reports. Must provide excellent guest service and be able to answer questions guests may have.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to handle a smoke filled environment. Must have good communication skills and be friendly and congenial with guests and staff. Must possess good math skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: To observe and communicate to their supervisors problems resulting from system failure and guest behavior. Assist guests in using the sportsbook kiosk and answer questions. Assist guests with winning sportsbook tickets and collect guest information when necessary.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
