We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while creating memorable experiences in a fun and safe environment. This is an exciting opportunity for those who have a passion for working with children and enjoy outdoor activities.
Duties:
- Plan, organize, and lead a variety of camp activities, including games, sports, arts and crafts, and nature exploration
- Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times
- Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development
- Assist in the implementation of behavior management strategies
- Foster a positive, memorable, and inclusive camp environment
- Collaborate with other camp staff to create engaging and age-appropriate programming
- Maintain accurate records of camper attendance, incidents, and any necessary documentation
- Capture special moments via photos/video
- Establish relationships and have fun with our campers!
Requirements
- Experience working with children ages 4-15
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass a background check
- Ability to effectively manage a group of children with varying needs and abilities
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Previous experience in daycare, childcare, or babysitting is beneficial
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and work well under pressure
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude!
