eBike Mechanic
At JOCO, we empower gig workers to complete last-mile deliveries by removing all the
hassle of owning, storing, charging, and maintaining E-Bikes.
We’re looking to hire a Mechanic to join our New York City team.
As a Mechanic, you will be essential to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of
our fleet of e-bikes. You will be responsible for repairs and preventative maintenance to
maximize operational uptime.
What you will do
● Repair both mechanical and electrical issues on our fleet of eBikes.
● Assemble and quality check new eBikes as our fleet continues to grow.
● Leverage digital tools and dashboards to record and track your spare parts
usage and repair output.
● Provide regular feedback to the Warehouse Mechanic Manager on best practices
and process improvements.
What you will need
● 1+ years of proven experience as a mechanic or strong mechanic aptitude —
familiarity with eBikes is a plus.
● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train your fellow mechanics and
provide feedback to your manager on day-to-day operations.
● A team-oriented mindset combined with a proactive approach to resolving
technical issues.
● An exceptional work ethic, willingness to take responsibility, a drive to succeed,
and the ability to adapt as the operation scales.
● Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
