Job Summary:
Winston’s Residential is seeking compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 residential monitoring and nursing care for an individual with a seizure disorder. This position focuses on continuous observation, seizure recognition and response, medication administration, and patient safety in a calm, supportive residential setting. Ideal candidates have experience in neurological care, seizure management, and individualized nursing support within home‑based or group home environments.

Shifts:
- 12‑hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Schedule Includes: * Weekdays * Every other weekend * Rotating holidays
<Duties>
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to inform personalized care plans.
- Administer medications.
- Accompany the resident to Day Support or Community Engagement.
- Manage complex medical procedures, if needed, including catheterization, tube feeding, venipuncture, and sterile dressing changes with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as Seizure disorders, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, infectious diseases, or those requiring hospice or palliative care.
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations using medical imaging or laboratory specimen collection/processing to support clinical decision-making.
- Support emergency response efforts per protocols.
- Educate residents and DSP's on health coaching topics including medication administration, nutrition, discharge planning, and chronic disease management.
- Collaborate with House Supervisor, Program Director, RN and other multidisciplinary teams for case management.
- Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience
- Experience with ID/DD or private duty care preferred
- Dependable, professional, and compassionate
- Demonstrated ability to provide high‑quality care in varied healthcare environments, including home care settings.
- Proficiency with EMR

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
