Bethlehem Central School District is currently seeking applications for a probationary 10 month, 5.5 hour per day Food Service Helper, effective September 1, 2026. Vacancy is a floater position and may travel to various buildings. Schedule is 5.5 hours per day from 8:30am- 2:00pm when school is in session.
- Responsible for overall kitchen operation and ordering some food
- Meet USDA meal program regulations
- Receiving and inventory tasks
- Works on the tray lines serving designated portions per menus;
- Fills food carts and delivers foods to designated areas;
- Assists in the preparation of salads and desserts;
- Washes dishes, pots and pans by hand or machine;
- Sweeps, mops and cleans kitchen;
- May act as cashier
