Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nail Salon Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff. This role involves performing janitorial and custodial tasks specific to a salon setting, ensuring all areas are hygienic and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with an eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect salon stations, manicure/pedicure areas, waiting lounges, restrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain a pristine appearance
- Perform routine janitorial duties including trash removal, dusting, and surface cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and tools used within the salon environment
- Ensure all high-touch surfaces are sanitized regularly to uphold health standards
- Restock supplies such as towels, cleaning products, and hygiene items as needed
- Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks like buffing floors or touch-up painting if required
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or facilities maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
- Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and reliability in completing daily tasks efficiently
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift light cleaning supplies, and perform repetitive motions
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment in accordance with health standards
