Hugh Robert Woodworks is a small custom woodworking company serving the West Palm Beach area, specializing in high-end cabinetry, furniture, built-ins, millwork, and a wide range of custom wood elements for residential projects. Our work is detail-driven, highly custom, and often unique in nature, requiring craftsmanship, problem-solving, and a professional approach on every job.
Position Overview
We are looking to add an experienced team member to assist with the fabrication and installation of high-end custom cabinetry, furniture, millwork, and specialty woodworking projects. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, works efficiently, and understands the level of professionalism required when working in high-end homes and with discerning clients.
We are open to candidates with strengths in shop fabrication, field installation, or project coordination, provided they have solid experience in custom woodworking, cabinetry, or millwork.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following:
- Custom cabinetry fabrication
- Furniture building and assembly
- Millwork and trim installation
- Cabinet and built-in installation
- Reading shop drawings, plans, and basic drafting details
- Project coordination / jobsite problem-solving
- Working on high-end residential projects
- Managing details and producing clean, professional work
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in custom woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, or finish carpentry
- Ability to read drawings, plans, and installation details
- Ability to follow direction and work independently when needed
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift, carry, and install cabinetry / millwork as required

Schedule
- Typical 8-hour shift
- Full-time or part-time opportunities available
- Schedule may vary depending on project and installation needs
Compensation
- Pay is based on experience
- Compensation will reflect skill level, versatility, and relevant experience in fabrication, installation, and/or project management
