We are hiring a full-time Window Treatment Sales Consultant to join our growing small business.
We are looking for a professional, motivated, career-driven sales consultant who knows how to build trust, communicate clearly, follow up, and close sales. This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow with a local company, take ownership of their appointments, and become a strong part of our sales team.
We provide company leads, in-office product training, one-on-one coaching, and field training support. Window treatment experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right sales professional who has an eye for design. This role does require consistent learning, product knowledge growth, and a strong desire to improve in order to become a high-achieving sales consultant.
The right candidate should be polished, dependable, coachable, tech-savvy, organized, sociable, and motivated by winning.
This is not an order-taking position. It is sale-oriented with close-rates in mind and followups that will be required and with an element of design and function in order to recommend the right window treatments and style. The right candidate should be able to listen to customers, recommend the right window treatment solution, explain options clearly, address any objections, and close the sale or follow up consistently and professionally.
Compensation
Starting compensation is $3,500/month during the initial training and ramp-up period. After the ramp-up period and demonstrated performance in the field, compensation transitions into a commission-based structure with a $3,000 draw if sales goals are not reached. Performing consultants have regularly been on pace to do $85,000+/year.

About the Role
As a Window Treatment Sales Consultant, you will meet with residential and commercial customers to help them choose the best window coverings for their home or business.
You will be responsible for discussing customer needs, measuring windows accurately, recommending products, preparing quotes, following up, and closing sales. You will represent Arizona Blinds Company in a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable way.
This role is best for someone who enjoys sales, customer service, design, home improvement, and helping customers make confident purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities
- Meet with residential and commercial customers for consultations
- Listen to customer needs, style preferences, privacy needs, light-control needs, and budget
- Measure windows, doors, patios, and exterior spaces accurately
- Recommend the best window treatment products based on the customer’s goals
- Present product options clearly and professionally
- Explain product features, benefits, pricing, timelines, and installation expectations
- Prepare quotes and estimates
- Follow up with customers after consultations
- Close sales from company-provided leads
- Generate additional leads, referrals, and repeat customer opportunities
- Communicate clearly with the office team, installers, and customers
- Use company technology, apps, software, and digital tools as needed
- Stay organized with appointments, measurements, notes, quotes, and customer details
- Represent Arizona Blinds Company with professionalism, kindness, and confidence
- Continue learning through product training and one-on-one coaching
Requirements
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Window treatment experience strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right sales professional
- Must be willing to consistently learn window treatment products, measuring standards, sales process, and company expectations
- Must be motivated to grow into a high-achieving sales consultant
- In-home sales, home improvement sales, design sales, construction sales, real estate, remodeling, roofing, flooring, solar, HVAC, or similar consultative sales experience is a plus
- Must be comfortable meeting customers in homes and businesses
- Must be able to measure windows accurately
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be professional, polished, sociable, and well-spoken
- Must be motivated to close sales and meet goals
- Must be coachable and willing to follow a company sales process
- Must be tech-savvy and comfortable using phones, tablets, apps, and basic software
- Must be dependable, organized, and punctual
- Must be comfortable following up with customers and asking for the sale
- Must be willing to keep learning, improving, and growing with the company
Training Provided
Arizona Blinds Company provides:
- In-office product knowledge training
- Window treatment product training for the right sales professional
- One-on-one sales coaching

- Guidance on our company sales process and expectations
Training is provided, but this position requires consistent learning. The window treatment industry includes many product types, measuring details, installation considerations, and customer needs. The right candidate must be willing to keep learning, ask questions, study products, accept coaching, and improve consistently in order to succeed.
