Job Summary (We are looking for our Coral location, which is about a 10/15 -minute drive from Blairsville)
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, guiding their development through engaging activities and play. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in accordance with early childhood education standards.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction, cooperation, and respect among peers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that supports learning and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a cohesive curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
- Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and adapting activities as necessary to support individual growth.
Skills
- Strong background in early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience working with students in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of toddler care techniques and childhood development milestones.
- Ability to create engaging classroom activities that promote learning through play.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Previous experience in caregiving roles such as babysitting or nannying is a plus.
