Job Description :
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in the instruction or supervision of deaf/hearing impaired students; provides voice to sign and sign to voice support; assists students, teachers and parents in communicating; and serves as a resource to other school personnel requiring assistance with deaf/hearing impaired persons.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Maintain an active registered status in good standing with the Georgia Registry for Interpreters for the Deaf.
- Bachelor's degree preferred with EIPA score of 3.5 or higher preferred or holds a valid RID Certification.
- Ability to provide communication (sign language, finger spelling, etc.) to deaf/hearing impaired students.
