Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Prep & Line Cook to join our sandwich shop team. This role is responsible for preparing ingredients, assembling sandwiches, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in making quality food.
Responsibilities:
- Prep fresh ingredients (slice meats, cheeses, and vegetables)
- Make sandwiches and other menu items according to recipes
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Keep prep stations stocked and organized
- Clean kitchen equipment, surfaces, and dishes
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Work as part of a team to provide quick, friendly service
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knife skills and kitchen experience preferred (but willing to train)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Dependable and punctual
Schedule:
Part-time or full-time available. Must be available weekends and some evenings.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
