Job Summary
We are a growing chocolate manufacturing company seeking an experienced Warehouse & Inventory Manager to oversee inventory control, warehouse operations, and material flow. This role is critical to ensuring accurate inventory, efficient production support, and compliance with food safety standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, bilingual (English/Spanish), and has hands-on experience using QuickBooks for inventory and purchasing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping
- Maintain accurate inventory levels for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
- Track inventory transactions and adjustments using QuickBooks
- Reconcile physical inventory counts with system records
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and management teams
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments and freight scheduling
- Implement FIFO and lot control procedures
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and compliance with GMP and food safety standards
- Train and supervise warehouse staff
- Prepare inventory and operational reports as needed
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse and inventory management experience
- QuickBooks experience required (inventory, purchasing, reporting)
- Bilingual: English & Spanish (required)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience in food manufacturing or distribution preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
- Basic computer skills (Excel, email, inventory systems)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in chocolate, confectionery, or food production
- Knowledge of FIFO, lot tracking, and expiration date management
- Supervisory or team-lead experience
