Cherry Hill Park is a family owned and operated RV park and campground located in College Park, Maryland. We are the closest campground to Washington DC. Our guests visit to tour D.C. and enjoy a premium camping experience.
We are hiring for lifeguards to ensure safety at our two outdoor pools, which are open mid-April through mid-October, 7 days a week.
Primary responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety of all pool visitors;
- Responding quickly and professionally to emergency situations;
- Enforcing facility rules and regulations in a fair and consistent manner;
- Maintaining the cleanliness of work area;
- Testing and adjusting pool chemical levels;
- Maintaining and using properly all safety equipment.
Required certifications
Critical behaviors/skills
- Must be reliable and punctual;
- Must be a strong and confident swimmer;
- Must possess a “can-do” and “will-do” attitude;
- Needs to be friendly and respectful, with a genuine desire to provide guests a top-notch experience;
- Able to adapt to changing circumstances and work effectively in high-pressure situations;
- Must be able to speak with authority while remaining courteous and friendly.
Other requirements
- Must speak English;
- Must have reliable transportation to work;
- Must have a working cell phone;
- Must be 16 years of age or older as of starting date.
