Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure quality standards are met.
- Support staff training and development to promote excellent customer service and efficient food handling practices.
- Oversee inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maintain cost-effective operations.
- Manage cash handling procedures accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure financial integrity.
- Supervise shift management, including scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and resolving operational issues promptly.
- Enforce food safety regulations and cleanliness standards to provide a safe dining environment for guests and staff.
- Participate in interviewing potential team members and assist in onboarding new employees to build a strong team foundation.
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen management within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment.
- Demonstrated supervisory or assistant management experience in the food industry or hospitality sector.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong background in inventory control, cash handling, and food safety practices.
- Experience with staff training, team management, and shift supervision in casual dining or restaurant settings.
- Knowledge of food production processes, catering, or banquet service is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members while maintaining high standards of customer service.
