Are you a passionate leader with a love for early childhood education? We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Child Care Center Director to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our vibrant childcare program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management to ensure a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children, staff, and families
- Supervise, mentor, and support teachers and staff, fostering a positive and professional workplace culture
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and center policies
- Build strong partnerships with families and the community through clear communication and engagement
- Manage enrollment, staffing schedules, budgeting, and program development
- Promote an enriching curriculum that supports children’s social, emotional, and academic growth
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in childcare/early education, including at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative role
- Strong knowledge of state childcare licensing requirements and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in computer skills, including:
- Childcare management software (e.g., Procare or similar)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Email and digital communication platforms
- Basic record-keeping, data entry, and reporting
