Marathon Staffing is seeking dependable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Bus Servicer-Drivers. This position plays a key role in both operating transit vehicles within the facility and ensuring buses are clean, safe, and fully serviced for daily operations. If you are comfortable driving buses in a controlled yard environment, performing hands-on cleaning, and completing basic maintenance support tasks, we encourage you to apply.

Candidates must pass a comprehensive background check and have a clear MVR.
Valid South Carolina Class D Driver’s License required.
Position Details
Pay: $18.48/hour
Location: Greenville, SC
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 9:30 PM – 1:30 AM
- Saturday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Some nights and weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities
Bus Driving & Movement (Yard Operations)
- Move transit vehicles into and through the wash bay safely and efficiently
- Park buses after cleaning and ensure proper placement in designated areas
- Operate buses within facility grounds in compliance with safety procedures
Verify vehicles are shut down and secured after movement and servicing

Cleaning & Vehicle Sanitation
- Clean and sanitize bus interiors including seats, floors, windows, driver areas, pedals, and ADA securements
- Operate automated bus wash systems for exterior cleaning including tires and rims
- Use upholstery cleaning equipment and approved chemicals for deep cleaning
- Sweep, mop, and remove trash, debris, and litter from all vehicles
Ensure buses are fully cleaned and ready for service

Fueling, Fluids & Basic Maintenance Support
- Check and refill fluids including oil, coolant, transmission fluid, and DEF
- Fuel buses with gasoline or diesel as required
- Verify electric buses are charging and CNG buses are properly connected
- Identify and report mechanical or safety issues to maintenance personnel
Support basic operational readiness of transit vehicles

Farebox & Facility Duties
- Remove and probe farebox vaults and empty fareboxes into designated vault systems
- Maintain cleanliness of wash bay areas including floors, restrooms, and trash removal
- Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment as needed
Restock supplies and maintain organized work areas

Training & Team Support
- Train new Bus Servicers on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and equipment use
Cross-train team members across wash bay, fueling, and servicing stations

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid South Carolina Class D Driver’s License
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Ability to safely operate transit vehicles within a controlled yard environment
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor (standing, bending, lifting, repetitive tasks)
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and PPE requirements
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and attendance
- Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends
