Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and Screenroom Fabrication Technician to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating high-quality screens used in the aggregate industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to learn from an industry expert and develop your skills in fabrication, assembly, and materials handling within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble screen media
- Use forklifts and other materials handling equipment to transport raw materials and finished products safely within the warehouse or manufacturing floor
- Fabricate components through precise cutting, drilling, and assembly processes following detailed specifications
- Conduct routine inspections of materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and optimize manufacturing workflows
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.; weight may be more
Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment in a production setting
- Knowledge of materials handling procedures using forklifts or similar equipment
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles related to construction, carpentry, or millwork
- Warehouse experience is a plus, especially involving inventory management or materials logistics
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings and specifications
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols

Pay: $24.00 - $27.50 per hour
