We are looking for an enthusiastic, personable and talented individual to join our Kitchen Store sales team who shares our passion for cooking, great food, and making people feel welcome. Our goal is simple: create memorable experiences for our customers and spread the joy of cooking.
What We’re Looking For
- A passion for food, cooking, and kitchen gadgets
- A natural ability to provide excellent customer service and make people smile
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team players with a willingness to learn and grow into responsible position
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and safely move merchandise with carts or pallet jacks
Primary Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and help them find the right products
- Drive sales through product knowledge, suggestive selling, and enthusiastic service
- Greet and assist customers in a warm, professional manner
- Manage transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate sales records
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining merchandise inventory
- Proactively resolve customer concerns before, during, and after the sale
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming store environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of retail or customer service experience preferred (While retail sales experience is preferred, we provide on-the-job training to blend your knowledge, experience and enthusiasm with our product and point-of-sale system. Customer service is a top priority for us!)
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Dependable, energetic, and eager to learn
- Basic math and computer skills
