Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Fairview, OK. In this role, the successful candidate will develop equipment designs that utilize hydraulic systems, sheet metal components, and steel weldments
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design Hydraulic Systems, Weldments, Basic Wire Harnesses, and Sheet Metal Components.

Create 3D CAD models of designs in SolidWorks.

Utilize CAD modeling and creation of technical drawings.

Use engineering calculations and analysis throughout the design process and discuss technical details of your designs.

Interface with vendors to develop designs, execute certifications, and troubleshoot problems.

Consider practicality, safety, and cost of new designs.

Understand and apply the concept of Design for Manufacturability.

Provide engineering information in support of production operations.

Collect data to evaluate and report production cost.

Understand the engineering role in supporting a document control system.

Ability to perform hands-on task to develop concepts and support production.

Develop parts and service manuals.

Support production CNC operations.
-
Support production in the development of workstations, assembly lines, and other Lean Activities.

Experience
This position is considered entry level, however, any experience with the design of Hydraulic Systems, Weldments, and Sheet Metal components will be considered a plus.
Education
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
