Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment within a fast-paced production environment. Your expertise will ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, contributing to the creation of high-quality chemical products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and collaborate with a dedicated team committed to safety and excellence. Position is 12 hour shift work from 7 to 7 rotating every two weeks from days to nights on a 2 / 2 / 3 schedule.
Duties
- Operate chemical processing equipment following standard operating procedures.
- Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and moving raw materials or finished products using appropriate safety techniques.
- Must be able to work from various heights and with hot material.
- Maintain strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and to all safety standards in the production environment to include wearing proper PPE.,
- Perform routine inspections, monitor process parameters, and make adjustments to maintain product quality and safety.
- Responsible for reporting all problems with equipment or operations. Also responsible for LOTOTO of equipment, hot/safe work permits and confined space permits.
- Assist with loading/unloading materials with forklifts, and organizing storage areas.
- Proven factory experience within manufacturing facilities, especially in chemical or related industries.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly equipment effectively.
- Experience with forklift operation and procedures for safe material handling.
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
- Hands-on experience with assembly line processes and manufacturing management practices.
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts.
- Technical proficiency in operating complex machinery and troubleshooting mechanical issues promptly.

Pay: $22.50 - $24.00 per hour
