Narcoossee Oaks Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing team.
We are a busy, fast-paced AAHA-accredited, 4-doctor general practice with a team of more than 30 dedicated professionals. Our technicians are set up for success with a strong 4:1 technician-to-doctor support structure, allowing everyone to focus on providing exceptional patient care while working efficiently.

- Full-time position
- Four-day work week
- Alternating Saturdays from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (often resulting in only one Saturday shift each month)

Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during appointments, treatments, and procedures
- Educate clients on medications, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
- Collect laboratory samples including blood, urine, and fecal specimens
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed
- Obtain high-quality radiographs and monitor patient vitals
- Safely restrain patients during examinations and procedures
- Place IV catheters and assist with surgical procedures
- Maintain clean, organized treatment and exam areas
- Accurately document patient records in EzyVet
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of veterinary experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of preventive care, vaccines, and parasite prevention
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Dependable, compassionate, and positive attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain active throughout the workday
