IronLeaf Designs is a growing manufacturing and fabrication company located in Pineville, NC. We specialize in custom metal fabrication, CNC cutting, laser processing, woodworking, and made-to-order products for commercial, industrial, and OEM clients.
We are seeking an experienced Plasma CNC Operator / Welder who takes pride in producing high-quality work and thrives in a fast-paced fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating CNC equipment, reading fabrication drawings, welding a variety of materials, and helping us build efficient production processes as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting equipment to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, work orders, and technical specifications
- Perform MIG welding on fabricated steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel components
- TIG welding experience is a plus
- Layout, fit, and assemble parts according to project requirements
- Verify dimensions and tolerances using calipers, tape measures, squares, and other precision measuring tools
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance when necessary
- Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and shop organization
- Safely operate forklifts, hoists, and fabrication equipment as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and customer deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of CNC plasma cutting experience
- Minimum 3 years of welding and fabrication experience
- Strong MIG welding skills required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Experience working with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Familiarity with fabrication shop equipment and processes
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- TIG welding experience
- Experience with CNC lasers, press brakes, CNC routers, or other CNC fabrication equipment
- CAD/CAM software experience
- Forklift certification
- Experience in a custom fabrication or job-shop environment
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
