URGENT HIRING NEED – FIRST SHIFT AUGUST 21!
We are currently seeking a dependable Part-Time Line Cook for a casual, as-needed position in Jones Mills, PA. Our first coverage date is August 21, so we are looking for someone who can get started quickly and is available to work as needed based on business needs.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced cook looking for flexible, occasional work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food according to established recipes and portion standards.
- Prep ingredients and stock workstations before and during service.
- Cook menu items including burgers, steaks, fish, and other grilled or fried items.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and follow direction from management.
- Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately follow recipes and instructions.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended shifts of up to 10–12 hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive kitchen tasks.
- Must be able to successfully complete a drug screen and criminal background check.
Compensation & Schedule
- $16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Casual, as-needed scheduling based on business needs.
- First coverage date: August 21.
- Additional shifts will be offered based on availability and business needs.
