Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Foreman specializing in Excavation and Utilities to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring that excavation and utility installation work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Foreman you will coordinate and manage resources, interpret blueprints, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should have 5+ years experience as a foreman or supervisor, excellent attention to detail, organization skills and the ability to work as a leader on our team and maintain a "can do" attitude.

Duties
- Lead and supervise excavation and utility installation crews, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, and construction plans to guide crews accurately.
- Coordinate daily work schedule
- Oversee site safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, quality control reports, and daily logs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues promptly and maintain smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising excavation or utility construction projects with a strong understanding of heavy civil work.
- Demonstrated management skills with supervising experience in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately; familiarity with pipelines is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with construction site activities such as operating heavy equipment, trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, and quality control procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
