Infant Teacher
We are looking for a reliable , patient , and loving infant teacher to prepare our small children for early childhood. The infant teacher everyday role consists of planning safe stimulating activities , cleaning up toys consistently , often diaper changing , and dealing with different personalities of infants. The most infants one will have alone is four. The time for this position is 8:30 - 5:30 with an unpaid hour break.If you are interested in getting a CDA certificate with us, we offer it if you are willing to be employed with us for one year. Reliability is mandatory if you’re going to be out or late please contact staff / management .
Responsibilities
⁃ Everyday you are to disinfect toys to prevent illness , take your garbage out twice prior going on break and at the end of the day , disinfect and sanitize all surfaces to prevent bacteria , mop your classroom floor, and clean your bathroom.
⁃ Check diapers often to prevent diaper rashes
⁃ Maintain a safe environment. Cleaning chemicals , purses , sharp objects , and heavy objects should be on a shelf out of reach to avoid accidents.
⁃ It is mandatory that you have patience you are working with young children who can’t express themselves yet so there will be crying , temper tantrums , and frustration. Loud yelling and bad mouthing children is unacceptable.
