The Director of Pupil Services provides leadership and oversight of district-wide student services programs, including special education, gifted education, and Section 504 services. The Director supervises the Administrator(s) of Pupil Services and ensures consistent implementation of services across grade levels.

Ensure compliance with Chapters 12, 14, 15 and 16 regulations

Supervise Administrator(s) of Pupil Services

Oversee academic and behavioral supports, as well as, student intervention systems

Provide leadership related to manifestation determinations and discipline procedures

Collaborate with administrators, staff, Intermediate Unit, and outside agencies

Oversee required state and federal reporting

Manage pupil services program budgets

Support inclusive practices and equitable access to educational programs

Master’s Degree required; Doctorate preferred

PA certification as Supervisor of Special Education, Principal, or Letter of Eligibility preferred

Minimum five (5) years' experience in pupil services or special education leadership
