Pagenstecher GROUP is a premier residential remodeling firm with projects in Montgomery County Maryland, upper NW DC, and parts of Virginia. We are looking for a carpenters assistant / laborer to join our team. This is an entry-level position with opportunity for growth and development. The position requires you to perform physical labor tasks including but not limited to; preparation of work sites, demolition and debris removal, site clean-up and material staging. You will also assist with entry-level carpentry tasks under the direction of a senior carpenter.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to accept direction
- Reliable and organized
- Professional and courteous
- Able to bend, climb, and lift up to 75lbs throughout the work day
- Valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and clean driving record a must
- Hand tools
- Construction experience a plus but not a requirement
- Willing to undergo background check and drug testing upon request
