Anchor Behavioral Solutions (ABS) is seeking a dynamic Recruiter to join our team. This role focuses on recruiting Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to fill evening and weekend assignments in community-based settings and clients’ homes. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented candidate with an understanding of the healthcare industry, talent acquisition strategies, and a strong ability to manage the full-cycle recruitment process.
Duties and Responsibilities

Consults with hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).

Responsible for job posting and advertisement processes.

Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.

Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending hourly ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.

Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with clients or hiring managers.

Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process.

Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.

Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.

Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when necessary.

Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirement
Other knowledge, skills, and abilities preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.

Excellent organizational skills.

Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment including understanding of EEO, ADA, and other guidelines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software; ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.

Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Experience in recruiting in behavioral health services preferred.
This is an in-person position, reporting to our main headquarters in West Orange, NJ 07052.
Schedule is Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
