Overview
We are an Insurance/Investment office seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team! Duties
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and efficiently, directing calls or taking messages as needed
- Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records and ensure clarity in all communications
- Utilize computer skills including Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in Excel for administrative tasks such as scheduling, renewals and spreadsheets
- Support office management by organizing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings with attention to detail
- Handle clerical responsibilities such as filing, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies inventory
- Provide customer support through friendly interactions and timely responses to inquiries in person or via phone or email
Skills
- Proven experience with office management, administrative support or clerical roles in a professional setting
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
- Exceptional phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems and providing customer service
- Attention to detail in proofreading documents and data entry tasks to ensure accuracy
- Familiarity with Insurance concepts, calendar management, filing systems, and office procedures is highly desirable
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
