We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic Cook I who possesses the desire to care for Kentucky’s Veterans.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assists in preparing and serving meals while maintaining dietary work areas, equipment and utensils in safe, clean and sanitary condition.
- Prepares and serves palatable and appetizing meals in a timely basis and in accordance with sanitary regulations.
- Tastes meals to determine if properly cooked and seasoned.
- Ensures scheduled cleaning duties (dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, etc.) are completed.
- Disposes of food and waste in accordance with rules and regulations.
**This position, in the Bowling Green Veterans Center, Dietary Services Department, in Warren County has an approved Locality Premium of $4.97 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).
