Job Type: Kindergarten Co-Teacher, full-time position available

Requirements:
· Candidates must have a BA in Elementary and Early Childhood Education with a PA certification to teach Pre-K through fourth grade.
· Act 33/34, FBI and NSOR clearances and physical/TB test
· Proficient computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook and the Internet
Responsibilities:
· Follow best practices for keeping children healthy and safe in Center-based care, following all licensing and regulatory policies and procedures related to PA Department of Human Services (DHS), Department of Education, Keystone STARS and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)
· Supervise children at all times including naptime, mealtime and toileting times
· Use positive, sensitive and consistent encouragement with children
· Develop classroom lesson plans which provide children with a variety of developmentally appropriate and engaging experiences that are responsive to children’s needs
· Apply strong and appropriate classroom management skills
· Engage in professional growth activities to improve professional and personal skills
· Follow all Center policies and/or procedures as written in Job Description, Employee Handbook and Teacher Handbook
