CNB is looking for a qualified, motivated, and client- and team-focused individual to join our team as a Commercial Loan Processor I. This position will have the availability to be ON-SITE at one of our Hillsdale, Lenawee, Portage, or Jackson County locations.
Job Summary
The Commercial Loan Processor I provides entry-level support for the preparation, review and processing of commercial loan files. This role will assist in gathering required information, verifying basic borrower information, performing data entry and ensuring loan files are complete and compliant.
Key Responsibilities

Collect and organize loan documentation from lenders

Perform data entry into the Bank's loan origination system

Verify borrower information and communicate any missing documentation to the lender

Order and track third party reports including title work, appraisals, etc.

Communicate with all stakeholders in a clear and professional manner

Support accurate and timely preparation of loan files for underwriting, closing, and booking

Review files for completeness and compliance with bank policy and regulatory standards

May perform various other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0 - 2 years relevant experience
Preferred:
- Associate degree in business or finance, preferred
- Previous banking experience
Skills

Ability to learn loan origination systems and document management software

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication

Ability to follow established procedures

Ability to read simple financial documents and entity paperwork
- Ability to prioritize multiple files and meet deadlines.
Work Environment

This position is an on-site position located in our XX office and may require occasional travel between offices.
