About the Role:
Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Servers to join our team in the charming coastal town of Southport, NC! Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional manner to create a positive first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff
- Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring order accuracy
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, ingredients, and allergens
- Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Keep tables, service areas, and dining room clean and properly set at all times
Requirements:
- Previous serving or food & beverage experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol per NC state law
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and reliable work ethic
