Job Summary
DATES: 9/3/2026-9/16/2026 (no work on 9/7 and 9/12-9/13)
We are looking for detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Coordinators for an upcoming event at the Anaheim Convention Center. This is a short-term position working with our Material Flow Operations team to help them keep track of items coming through the delivery docks for both event load-in and load-out.
Duties
This role covers the scope listed below. However, depending on the day or needs required at the shift time, only certain portions of the scope will be assigned by the relevant onsite manager at the beginning of that shift:
- Receive small packages from carriers (UPS, FedEx, and similar delivery companies) at the Freight Desk, logging and organizing inventory accurately within the Eventra software system
- Maintain clear chain-of-custody for all received packages, ensuring proper tracking from intake through final delivery to the intended recipient
- Notify POCs and other recipients promptly upon package arrival, and coordinate accurate, timely delivery to on-site stakeholders
- Support Freight Desk operations, including fielding and resolving customer/exhibitor inquiries related to shipments, deliveries, and package status.
- For small package or freight desk related saily assignments, the role will be stationed at the Freight Desk throughout the event; reports to and coordinates with the Freight Desk Manager and the Material Flow Operations Leads as needed
- Assist the Material Flow Operations Leads and Dock Managers with things such as heavy equipment tracking/issue escalation, assisting hired labor and Dock Managers with accessing propane refill stations
- Support Dock Operations and Dock Managers with various tasks that may arise, such as guiding trucks or deliveries to the correct dock spots, paperwork checks or collection, communicating with hired labor to ensure smooth and efficient flow and pathways on the docks, etc.
Requirements
- Experience practicing in a logistics role with strong understanding of inventory management
- Familiarity with transportation management systems, freight forwarding, and shipping logistics
- Hands-on experience with warehouse operations including stocking, manual handling, and materials management
- Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration and customer service orientation
Pay: $260.00 per day
