Job Overview
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Captains to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Captains will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This position requires strong customers service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Adhere to service standards and operational procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Utilize POS system (TOAST) for order processing and cash handling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, proper food handling practices and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food service industry, preferably in fine dining or casual dining settings.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
