Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, couples, and families
- Develop and maintain timely clinical documentation
- Participate in supervision and consultation
- Provide ethical, evidence-based treatment
- Maintain professional standards consistent with BBS requirements
Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
- Current California BBS registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)
- Experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents and adults
- Training in evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, ACT, or other empirically supported approaches
- Strong clinical, interpersonal, and documentation skills
Preferred
- Experience working with couples
- EMDR training or interest in trauma-informed treatment
- Motivated, dependable, and eager to continue developing clinical skills
